Regional Centralized Services

A number of centralized services are provided by the Region through the efforts of a team composed of managers, program coordinators, nurses, student recruiters, MEES family services specialists and support staff. While the focus at the Regional level is on instructional services for all grade levels, including preschool-aged children and out-of-school 18-21 year olds, Region VIII also provides the following:
  • Health and Social Services
  • Parent Training
  • Staff Development and Professional Growth Opportunities to District and Regional Staff
  • Office and Technological Support to Complement the Instructional Component
  • Centralized Services also assist Districts with Student Identification and Recruitment
  • Supportive Services are designed to promote access to the core curriculum and enable migrant students to succeed
