Youth Services

SEE logo SEE enrolls over 800 students in Tulare County on an annual basis. The program is funded by the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County and can assist low-income individuals, ages 16-21, with work experience/job placement and educational opportunities.

In addition, the program provides:
  • Job readiness training including applications, resumes and interviewing
  • Job placement
  • Approximately 150 hours of paid experience
  • Vocational counseling and career goal setting
  • Post-secondary education guidance
  • Referrals to Armed Services
  • Workshops on occupational and health safety, ethics in the workplace, sexual harassment and life skills
  • Support in other areas as needed
  • Follow-up services
