Youth Services

SEE enrolls over 800 students in Tulare County on an annual basis. The program is funded by the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County and can assist low-income individuals, ages 16-21, with work experience/job placement and educational opportunities.

In addition, the program provides:

Job readiness training including applications, resumes and interviewing
Job placement
Approximately 150 hours of paid experience
Vocational counseling and career goal setting
Post-secondary education guidance
Referrals to Armed Services
Workshops on occupational and health safety, ethics in the workplace, sexual harassment and life skills
Support in other areas as needed
Follow-up services
